Innisfree is a small island in Loch Gill (Ireland), a floating piece of land and vegetation on the cold, silvery waters. It inspired Yeats to compose his famous poem.
Innisfree is also the town imagined by John Ford in the formidable film The Quiet Man. There, Sean Thornton found an idyllic space for redemption and reinvention, a community never governed by laws or institutions.
Innisfree is a melody of individual affirmation, freedom, and heterodoxy.
